“Sand Dog” – a beautiful scarf whose timeless simplicity and remarkable monochrome elegance will enrich casual outfits.
Imagine the scene:
Looking out towards the sea from a hotel room, I saw a black dog watching his family playing frisbee on the beach.
Patience? Frustration? Adoration? Jealousy?
I’d been abstracting summer beach scenes using overexposure and a telephoto lens.
Imitating the sunlight of artists like Sorolla was my challenge.
Later, the lens rolled off a sofa.
The impact on the wooden floor crumpled the filter ring.
My impatience and frustration aren’t in the photograph.
