This “Yummy Berries” plate has been hand-made from white clay in our studio, and decorated with coloured slips and finished with a clear, glossy glaze.
Against my better judgement, Peter insisting on calling this plate “Yummy Berries” and I couldn’t convince him otherwise.
The design was inspired by the work of William Morris’ “Strawberry Thief” and required a lot of careful slip applications and sgraffito.
This plate is 26 cm in diameter and about 2 cm deep at the lip. It is fully functional for use with food and is dishwasher safe.
This is a unique item – only one is available.
