Description
This Green Swirl Hexagonal Bowl was made by rolling out a piece of terracotta clay and draping it over bisque fired form. For the decoration, I used a variety of coloured slips. The piece was then bisque fired in the kiln, then glazed with a clear, glossy glaze and glaze fired. It is fully functional and dishwasher safe.
The bowl is 22 cm in diameter and 3 cm high. You could easily say this is more of a “deep dish” than a bowl, and I wouldn’t argue with that!
