Our Pottery Studio
In 2016, we had a pottery studio built in our garden. It’s a fully functioning studio with two wheels, two electric kilns, and all the tools, brushes and gadgets required to do pottery. We generally use both terracotta and white clays and concentrate on earthenware firings and the use of coloured slips and mostly clear glazes (with some honey glaze, and other coloured glazes).

We have a few friends and fellow potters who use our pottery studio on a regular basis. If you’d like to join in, send us an email (using the contact link in the top menu bar) to see if we currently have any capacity.
We find that everyone has particular things they like and a particular way they like to do things. We try to be accommodating and help them fit in as much as possible. As long as we have availability, and what you want to do fits in with how we run our pottery studio, you’re welcome to join us.
