This is an illustration of a girl’s face (Girl in Blue) that was done with Copic markers. Ella was inspired to do this when she got some new Copic markers. You can also see Ella’s love of Manga coming out through this piece.
The 20 pictures below take you through the creative process of “Girl in Blue”. The pictures are in chronological order and you can see how the project progressed over the period of a few days. Everything was done by hand on sketching paper and the image was made completely from Ella’s imagination. She uses pauses in the process to allow time for inspiration to direct what to do next.
